Measure your CMI Lean Agility®
Cimes has the approach and tool to become Lean & Agile Cimes developed an approach to help companies to become both Lean and Agile. This approach is supported by a CMI Lean Agility® measurement tool that calculates the company’s health or lean agility for different business units, sites and/or business processes. This results in CMI-scores for the company, its units, or its processes.
In an attempt to determine the company health, the total organization can divided in a number of areas, typically value adding business processes, such as ‘from idea to market’, or ‘from opportunity to sale’ or ‘from order to cash’.

During the assessment phase, each of these processes is addressed through a series of well thought-through statements, tailored to the company’s specific environment. These statements implicitly describe performance levels of best-of-breed performance in terms of lean agility. Statements are developed in line with the chosen processes to be analyzed, as well as in line with relevance for the market or industry sector in which the company or unit operates. Assessing the validity of the statements in the different business processes will result in a scoring of the current level of lean agility and this is then reflected in the CMI score, both overall and per business process. The primary goal, however, is not only to know your CMI performance but more importantly to identify where the most promising opportunities for improvement are, as well as obtaining directions on what to improve specifically, and to trigger action fast
